1. Service Description

SlashFeed is a self-hosted RSS/Atom feed aggregator that lets you subscribe to, read, and organise articles from across the web. By creating an account or using the iOS app you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the feeds you subscribe to and the content you consume.
• You must not use SlashFeed to access, store, or distribute unlawful content.
• You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any proprietary component of the service.
• You must not use automated scripts to create accounts, spam the newsletter inbox feature, or otherwise abuse the service.

4. Acceptable Use

SlashFeed is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise access to the service without our prior written consent. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

SlashFeed and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the SlashFeed team and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Third-party feed content belongs to its respective publishers. We do not claim ownership over content fetched from RSS/Atom feeds.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

SlashFeed is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SlashFeed and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months or USD $10.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination your right to use the service ceases immediately.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is domiciled, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will give at least 14 days' notice of material changes via the app or email. Continued use after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
